About Me

Ello and thanks for stopping by my space!
Myspace, those were the days. (;
If you're here, you're probably wanting to know more about me. I can save you the trouble and tell you (again) how awkward I am, but it's easier to just show you.
And more fun, right?
Because I'm terrible at taking selfies, you get this picture taken from my IG story. Which you should follow, btw. I'm sure there's a link somewhere on my main page. But, yes. This is me. Not my best day, but work with me. I'm 25 but go ahead, tell me I look 19. I won't tell you how often I hear that.
It's a lot, though.
So, yeah. 25 years old, living my best life. I'm a mother to two very special kitties. Abby and Coco. The world's sweetest, sassiest pussy cats around. They're honestly my bffs.
 This is Abby. My first, most independent kitty. Most of the time it seems like she only likes me, which is fine lol. She may act vicious, but she's the biggest baby. She actually sucks on soft blankets like a pacifier. Don't tell her I said that. She's scary.
And this precious angel, is Coco. This fat little chunk was diagnosed with anxiety but refuses to take her medicine. She will legit eat anything, anytime. But one sniff of those kitty prozacs and she gags. It's not funny, but yeah...it kinda is. She has a Thunder shirt to help keep her calm while I'm at work, but she's super happy to cuddle when I get home. She's sweet. And fat. (;
And this stud, is my kitty daddy. Hands down the best thing to ever happen to me. He makes me laugh, keeps me and my anxious mind feeling the safest I have ever been. I have grown as a person since meeting him and my life is on its best track. I am so lucky to be with my best friend.
He has a 6 year old son who, for privacy reasons, I won't post photos of on my blog. He's literally just a tiny human replica of his dad. There are a lot of fart jokes and Minecraft binges, but being his "Aunt Shalena" has been so rewarding. It's easy to disconnect and feel left out because I'm not his mom, but he loves me and I love that little stinker.
Moving on to work, I am so happy to say I found a career I love. I have done everything from waitress, work at a sewing factory, to teaching at a daycare (which I still say was one of my all time favorite jobs). But working with Clinique has given me such a purpose and sense of responsibility. I am a Counter Manager for a small Clinique counter and I absolutely love my job. Being able to play with makeup and get paid for it is honestly a dream come true. I love learning and my team helps me learn more every single day. Starting that job was the beginning of a prosperous life for me and I will always be so grateful.
That sums up enough background. I hate long bios, tbh. Plus, I'm sure you'll learn more throughout my posts and social media. Thanks for being intrigued enough to read into a glimpse of what makes me, ME!
Later, gaters!
